Take a look at the dogs and puppies waiting for their forever homes in PAWS, a Kildare based animal rescue.
PAWS Animal Rescue was founded in February 1997 by Deirdre Hetherington in Sallins, Co Kildare and takes in dogs from Kildare Dog pound to save them from destruction.
"It has been a long and bumpy road and we have hit many potholes along the way. I still thank God each day for the people like all over this island, who make a difference," the rescue says on their website.

The first dog seeking a home is three-year-old Ghost who is a male Suluki Cross who gets along with other dogs and walks very well on the lead.
Ghost could live in a home with another dog or on his own and he loves having snuggles during the day and a run around the garden. He is a very easy going boy.
