Gardai investigating theft from car in Leixlip, Kildare

Gardai in Leixlip, Co Kildare are investigating a theft from a car incident which occurred in the Glendale estate in Leixlip on February 19 last.

The incident was highlighted on KFM's Crime Watch slot this week, with details given to host Hannah Kelly by Gda Brian Carroll of Newbridge Garda Station.

According to Gda Carroll, the incident occurred between the hours of 4.35am and 10.30pm on February 19.

A black Skoda car was parked outside the owner's home.

At some point during the day, the car was broken into and rummaged through, with a sum of cash taken.

Gardai are appealing to members of the public who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the Glendale estate on February 19 last to contact Leixlip Garda Station at (01) 6667800.
