If approved, the development will modernise the club’s rugby facilities and support continued growth in participation at the Kilcock-based club
Plans have been lodged for a €695,000 rugby pitch extension and upgrade at The Maws in Kilcock, Co. Kildare.
The application will see two existing natural grass rugby pitches within the grounds of The North Kildare Club reorientated as part of a wider redevelopment of the club’s playing facilities.
The proposed works include repositioning the current grass pitches to improve layout and functionality within the 2.4-hectare site.
As part of the development, the existing floodlighting infrastructure will be reorientated and upgraded to align with the new pitch configuration. In addition, new floodlighting is to be installed to enhance training and match-day conditions.
