A woman has been arrested in County Kildare in relation to an alleged theft incident.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this alleged incident, a garda spokesperson replied: "Gardaí responded to a report of an alleged theft from a vehicle in Newbridge, County Kildare in the early hours of Tuesday, March 3 last.

"A woman (aged in her 30s) who was arrested at the scene has since been charged and is due to appear before the courts at a later date."

The spokesperson added: "As this matter is now before the courts, there is no further information available at this time."
