'The offences just kept on coming': Car seized from unaccompanied learner driver in Kildare

Gardaí in Kildare recently stopped a vehicle and found that “the offences just kept on coming.”

Members of the Naas Roads Policing Unit were out on patrol when they were alerted to a car being driven by an unaccompanied learner driver. 

From here, gardaí discovered that no L-plates were displayed on the vehicle, which also had no motor tax, insurance or NCT.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána in Kildare commented that this was “a full house no driver wants to win.”

The vehicle was seized and court proceedings will follow. 

“Driving comes with responsibilities — make sure you are properly licensed, insured and your vehicle is roadworthy before getting behind the wheel,” the spokesperson concluded.
