Gerard (Gerry) Canning

The death has occurred of Gerard (Gerry) Canning, Gallow, Kilcock, Meath / Kilcock, Kildare.

Sadly the death has occurred of Gerard (Gerry) Canning, Gallow, Kilcock, Co. Meath (and formerly of Church St, Kilcock, Co. Kildare).

Peacefully in the loving care of the wonderful staff of Beaumont Lodge.

Gerry will be missed and fondly remembered by his beloved wife of 67 years Marie, his children Ambrose, Pascal, Grainne, Zita, Gary, Ronan, Regina, Majella and Rachael, his grandchildren Christina, Wesley, Jane, Holly, Gareth, Jamie, Grace, Tilia, James, Emily, Lisa, Eve, Matthew, Tom, Oisin and Ciara, his great-grandchildren Jayden and Margot, his sons and daughters-in-law, sister and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours, friends, his wonderful carers at home and also his beloved dog Louie.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday March 17 from 4pm to 7pm. (parking available at Kilcock Golf Club).

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12noon in the Church of the Assumption, Coole, Summerhill (W23 WAC8) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Ned (Edward) Kelly, Kilcullen, Kildare.

Ned (Edward) Kelly, New Abbey, Kilcullen, Co.Kildare.
Who died on March 12 2026 peacefully at Tipperary university hospital.

Son of the late Joe and Maggie.

Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Elizabeth and Martha, brothers Joe, Pat and John, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his family home New abbey (eircode R56 NT97) on Tuesday March 17 from 2pm until 8pm with prayers at 7.30pm, removal from there on Wed March 18 to the church of the sacred heart and St Brigid's Kilcullen arriving for 11am funeral mass which may be viewed on https://mcn.live/Camera/church-of-the-sacred-heart-and-st-brigid-kilcullen followed by burial in St Brigid's cemetery.

Bernadette (Bernie) Ryan (née Maher)

The death has occurred of Bernadette (Bernie) Ryan (née Maher), Rathcoffey, Kildare.

Bernadette (Bernie) Ryan (née Maher) 14th March 2026, Rathcoffey, Co. Kildare (formerly of Straffan, Naas and Bagenalstown).

Passed peacefully in St. Brigid's Hospice. Predeceased by her loving husband Paddy. Sadly missed by her children Sheila, Mary and Kieran and their partners Ken, Dara and Grainne.

Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Conal, Fintan and Beibhinn, brothers, sisters, brother-in-law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (Eircode W91 CD0K) on Tuesday 17th March 2026 (St. Patrick’s Day) from 12 noon to 2pm.

Removal on Wednesday (18th March 2026) from George Mullins Funeral Home at 10.30am approx. for 11am Mass at Ballycane Church, followed by Cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium.

The death has occurred of Michael Dunne, Chanterlands, Athy, Kildare.

Peacefully, at his residence. Predeceased by his mother Christine and brother Ray. Deeply regretted by his loving father Michael, sisters Evelyn, Sandra and Audrey, brother Niall, brothers-in-law Damien, Dave and John, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Sunday evening (March 15th) from 5pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 7pm.

Burial afterwards in St. Michael's New Cemetery, Athy.

Dympna Dunne (née Murphy)

The death has occurred of Dympna Dunne (née Murphy), Station Road, Allenwood North, Allenwood, Kildare / Kildare Town, Kildare.

Formerly of Assumpta Villas, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare. Peacefully at Naas Hospital with her loving family by her side. Pre deceased by her parents, also her brother and sisters.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Thomas, her children Larry, Jane and Tommy, son in law James, daughters in law Aisling and Theresa, her adored grandchildren Thomas, Ellen, Zoe and Adam, sister Anne, brothers and sisters in law, nephew and nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her family home (W91 FV02) from 2pm on Sunday (March 15) with Rosary at 6pm. Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Monday morning (March 16) to arrive at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Allenwood for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Allen Cemetery.
