The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Alcock, Dromore, Mountcharles, Donegal, F94 RP21 / Athy, Kildare.

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Alcock of Dromore, Mountcharles, (F94 RP21), formerly of Rockville Centre, New York, and Athy Kildare, on March 18th, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents, Richard and Kathleen, and his brothers, Richie and Liam.

He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife, Kathleen; his sons, Thomas and Patrick; and his daughter Kathleen; his son-in-law, Patrick; and his daughters-in-law, Nicole and Farida.

He will be fondly remembered by his cherished grandchildren, Caoimhe, Ciallí, Andrea, Jack, Paddy, Creegan, Fara, Alexis, Madison, Jack, McKenzie, Krew, Olivia, and Neave, who all adored him; and by his brother, Christy, and his sisters, Junie, Kathleen, and Margaret.

May He Rest In Peace

Remains will be reposing at his late residence on Thursday March 19 from 2pm until 8pm. Removal from there on Friday March 20, going to St. Mary’s Church, Killymard, (F94 EA22) for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

The death has occurred of Maura Byrne, Leixlip, Kildare.

BYRNE (née Kearney), Maura (Leixlip, Co. Kildare). Passed away peacefully on March 18 2026, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice Blanchardstown.

Much loved mam of David and Audrey and adored nana of Aimee and Sanne. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her son and daughter, granddaughters, Audrey’s partner Stephen, Tony, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her daughter Audrey’s residence on Friday evening (March 20) between 6pm and 8pm. A service to celebrate Maura’s life will be held in Glasnevin Crematorium on Saturday afternoon (March 21) at 12.30pm.

The death has occurred of Mairead Doyle, Raheny, Dublin / Cork / Dunlavin, Wicklow / Curragh, Kildare.

The death has occurred of Mairead Doyle on Friday January 16 2026 in St Francis Hospice, Raheny, Dublin.

Born in Cork City and, in later years, a resident of Raheny, Dublin, The Curragh of Kildare, Cherrymount, County Meath and Dunlavin, County Wicklow.

Predeceased by her parents Ellen (Née Murphy) and Pat Doyle (Howth). Artist, teacher and director of the Meridian Art Group, she is deeply missed by her family, friends and former students.

Mairead has been laid to rest with her parents in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton, Co. Dublin.

March 18 2026 in her 99th year. Peacefully, at Craddock House Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Billy and loving mam of Mary, Liam, Brenda, Shay and Paul.

Predeceased by her siblings Paddy, Monnie, Mary, Jim and son-in-law Anthony.

Teresa will be sadly missed by her loving children, grandchildren Barry, Ciara, John, Richard, Kellie, William, Victoria, Emily, Rachel, Sarah, Orla, Katie, Allie, Jane, Rob, David, Amy, Ciaran and Niamh, 15 great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Jackie, Debby and Caroline, son-in-law John, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas, Co. Kildare (W91 CD0K) on Thursday March 19 from 4pm to 7pm with Rosary Prayers at 6:30pm.

Teresa’s funeral cortège will leave from her home on Sallins Road at 9:45am on Friday March 20 for Requiem Mass at 10am at The Church of Our Lady and Saint David, Naas, followed by burial at St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.
