The M7 motorway
Motorists travelling through Co Kildare are being advised to expect delays and diversions as a series of night-time roadworks take place on the M7 motorway Ireland over the coming days.
The works will be carried out during off-peak hours from 10pm to 6am, with traffic management in place throughout the week.
The works are part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the national road network.
On Monday, March 23, and Tuesday, March 24, the eastbound entry at Junction 10 will be closed, with traffic diverted via the R445 and Junction 9a. Westbound motorists will face both entry and exit closures at Junction 10, with diversions in place via the M9 and Junction 9a.

Further restrictions are planned for Wednesday, March 25, when the westbound entry at Junction 9a will be closed, with traffic redirected via Junction 9.
On Thursday, March 26, a number of closures will be in effect. Eastbound traffic on the M7 will see both entry and exit points at Junction 9 closed. On the N7, the westbound entry at Junction 7 will also be shut, while a stop-go system will operate at Junction 4.
The final phase of works on Friday, March 27, will involve westbound closures at Junction 9 on the M7, as well as entry and exit closures at Junction 6 on the N7.
Drivers are being urged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time and follow all diversion signage in place.
Road users are also reminded to exercise caution when travelling through the affected areas.
