Works have commenced on an extension to UPMC Kildare Hospital in Kildare.
The hospital is addressed at Prosperous Rd, Hoganswood East, Clane, Co Kildare.
According to Construction Information Services (CMS), application number 2560386 was approved on July 30 2025, with works commenced on-site on April 1 2026.
The main contractor for the project is Moston Construction Limited, and the architect is Reddy Architecture and Urbanism.

The project consists of the following:
The construction of a two-storey rear extension to the existing hospital, to accommodate two endoscopy procedure rooms, recovery area and associated support accommodation at ground floor and a plant room at first floor.
Permission is also sought for the construction of a single storey CSSD department with roof top plant and all associated ancillary site services.
The total site area is 1.09ha.
