Girl (15) produced a knife and stabbed her aunt twice

A teenage girl stabbed her aunt twice with a knife, it was alleged at Naas District Court.

The court was told by Sgt Dave Hanrahan that the 15 year old “got into an altercation with her aunt.”

He further alleged that she was stabbed with a knife the girl pulled from her pocket.

The girl, who cannot be named because of her age, is charged with assault causing harm and producing an article on March 12, 2025 at an address in north Kildare.

The court was also told the woman sustained wounds to her upper left back and the shoulder blade area.

The case was initially adjourned by Judge Desmond Zaidan.
