Two dozen people on trolleys at Kildare's main hospital today

It's among the most overcrowded hospitals in the area

Naas hospital urges patients to get medical care elsewhere due to overcrowding

Two dozen people were treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital having been admitted through the accident and emergency department today.

Only St Vincent's Hospital (41) and the Mater (26) had more patients on trolleys in the eastern region.

At Portlaoise Hospital there were three people on trolleys and there were none on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital.
