The death has occurred of Ian Farrell, Connagh Close, Collaghknock Glebe, Kildare Town, Kildare.

Ian Farrell, Connagh Close, Collaghknock Glebe, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare.

Formerly Church View, Suncroft, Co. Kildare.

Peacefully, April 21 2026, at Tallaght University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his father Pat and mother May. Ian will be sadly missed by his loving wife Majella, daughters Sorcha and Natasha, sister Lisa and her husband John, nephews Jack and Harry, Sorcha's partner Dewet, work colleagues, neighbours and friends.

May Ian Rest In Peace.
Reposing at McWey's Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town, on Thursday (April 23) from 5pm concluding with Rosary at 7pm.

Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Friday morning to arrive St. Brigid’s Church, Suncroft for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery, Suncroft.

Ian's Funeral Mass will be broadcast on 108FM and also live-streamed on the webstream link below.

Hogarty Snr., Michael, Late of Mill Lane Manor Nursing Home, Naas and formerly of Caragh, Co. Kildare and Luton, UK. April 21 2026, peacefully in the loving care of staff and nurses of Naas General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Patrick and brother Laurence.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister Eileen (Dunne), brother-in-law Pat, nephews David, Michael, Patrick and Shane, nieces Diane and Keara, dear friend Elizabeth and all relatives and friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Prosperous, (W91T62P) on Thursday (Apr. 23) from 6pm - 8pm, with evening prayers at 7pm.

Removal from the Funeral Home on Friday (Apr. 24) at approx. 10.30am to arrive at The Church of Our Lady & St. Joseph, Caragh for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Caragh Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Séan Hunter, Greenhills, Athy, Kildare.

Séan Hunter, Greenhills, Athy, Co Kildare passed away on 20th April, 2026.

Séan will be sadly missed by his partner Natasha, sons and daughters, Eireann, Saoirse, Labhaoise, Oisín and Tadhg, his parents John and Maire, grandchildren Kylie and Jimmy, sisters Emma and Carla, brothers-in-law Rory and Kieran, nephews and nieces Craig, Ciall, Lorcán, Sadhbh, Jay, Naoise and Dubh, extended family and friends.

 

Séan will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home on Thursday, April 23 2026 from 6pm until 8pm. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday, April 24 at 11am in Thompson’s Cremation Chapel, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins (R14 NX80).

Marta McCusker (née Damrych)

The death has occurred of Marta McCusker (née Damrych), Celbridge, Kildare.

McCUSKER, Marta (née Damrych), (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Lubin, Poland) April 22nd 2026 (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the staff at St. James’s Hospital.

Beloved wife of Stephen and much-loved mother of Christopher and Nathan. Marta will be very sadly missed by her mother Teresa, father Edward, brother Lukasz, mother-in-law Rose, father-in-law Ray, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Celbridge on Monday evening (April 27) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning (April 28) to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00am followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.

Geraldine Reinhardt (née Kelly)

The death has occurred of Geraldine Reinhardt (née Kelly), Leopardstown, Dublin / Enfield, Kildare.

Geraldine Reinhardt (née Kelly) - Late of Orby Close, Leopardstown, and formerly of Ballynakill, Co. Kildare.

Passed away peacefully after a short illness at James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown on April 18 2026.

Sadly missed by her husband Gerard and her precious children Sarah and Jordan, their partners Jack and Sif, adored grandchildren Fíadh, Aleks and Mairéad, sisters Betty, Mary, Alice and Pauline, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and neighbours. Geraldine will be especially missed by her dear friends and colleagues at Leopardstown Park Hospital.

May her kind, gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Geraldine will repose at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Goatstown (D14 X348) on Friday 24th April from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal on Saturday afternoon to the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome for a celebration of her life at 3:45pm followed by cremation.

As a tribute to Geraldine’s bright and joyful spirit, those attending are encouraged to wear bright colours.

Pre-deceased by her parents Jim and Mary Shiel. Much loved sister of Mary (McAnaney), Liz (Gallagher), Angela (Carey), Sheila (Watkins) and her brother James.

Olive will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sisters, brother, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, adored nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, aunts, uncle, cousins, staff and many friends in C.R.S. and all who knew and loved Olive.
