Alone, the organisation that supports older people, will host an afternoon tea party in St Canice’s Neighbourhood Hall which will be sponsored by Lions Club Kilkenny.
They are asking people to join older people in Kilkenny for a Valentine's afternoon tea party on February 8 from 2.30pm – 4.30pm.
Music will be provided by Sean Shortis. Valentine's cards have been made by third year students in Loreto Secondary School will be given to attendees.
This event is sponsored by the Lions Club Kilkenny. This follows on from sponsorship received from the Lions Club last year to Alone to be spent on older people in the local community.
“We are delighted to sponsor ALONE’s afternoon tea party. This is a great initiative bringing people together socially to enjoy themselves," said Carmel Slater, President of Kilkenny Lions Club.
