Nancy Lennon recently celebrated her 101st birthday at St Anthony’s Unit in Clonmel with her family. 

Although she has lived in Clonmel for most of her long and happy life, Nancy is still a proud Kilkenny woman, hailing originally from Julianstown, Castlecomer. 

Nancy lived in Clonmel at King’s Close and Powerstown and she and her family are grateful to the wonderful team at St Anthony’s Unit who care for her.

When she turned 100 last year she said that plenty of fresh air, plain food and hard work are the recipes for a long and happy life.
