New plans for housing development in County Kilkenny

New plans for housing development in County Kilkenny

Creanross Limited have submitted new plans to Kilkenny County Council seeking permission to construct thirty housing units on a site at Grenan, Thomastown, County Kilkenny.

This applicant previously sought permission to construct housing on the site but were refused by Kilkenny County Council before having their subsequent appeal dismissed by An Bord Pleanála.

As part of this new application, twenty-two two-story semi-detached and terraced housing units are planned as well as eight apartments within two two-storey apartment blocks, each containing two apartments at ground-floor level and two at first-floor level.

A new site entrance layout from the adjoining Mallfield is envisaged as well as new boundary treatments and landscaping.

The application, currently still in the pre-validation phase, will also consist of a Natura Impact Statement, in the townland of Grenan.
