Plans for new housing development in County Kilkenny

Hebron Ventures Limited have submitted plans to Kilkenny County Council seeking to construct a residential development on a site at Maudlin Street/Maudlin Court, Thomastown, County Kilkenny.

23 residential units are planned, consisting of:

  • 2 3-bedroom bedroom semi-detached 2-storey houses,
  • 6 3-bedroom semi-detached 2-storey houses,
  • 2 1-bedroom semi-detached bungalows,
  • 8 2-bedroom terraced 2-storey houses,
  • 4 4-bedroom semi-detached 2-storey houses,
  • 1 single-storey 4-bedroom community housing building.

The provision of vehicular site access is also sought as well as internal roads and footpaths including associated pedestrian crossing facilities, surface level car parking, public lighting, landscaping, public open space, boundary treatments, provision of foul and surface water disposal, refuse storage, bicycle storage and all associated site works.

The application sent to Kilkenny County Council was deemed incomplete by the local authority so it will have to be resubmitted.

It is the second planning application seeking to construct a residential development in Thomastown submitted to Kilkenny County Council this week (see above article for the other application).
