Dyspraxia can affect fine motor skills like holding a pencil
Kilkenny Dsypraxia/ DCD Support Group in conjunction with the EPT Clinic will host a talk in the Orchard House Bar and Restaurant in Kilkenny.
The talk entitled “Transitioning to Secondary School; Dsypraxia survival guide” will take place on Thursday, May 18 at 7:30pm.
Paul Brophy, committee member said: “This is the first talk we have held since Covid and we are delighted to partner with the EPT Clinic and we have two fantastic dynamic Occupational Therapists Emma McEvoy and Evana Cassidy who will be presenting on the night. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the area of Dsypraxia.
“Dsypraxia or DCD (Developmental Co Ordination Disorder) is primarily a coordination difficulty but it can create difficulties around planning organising and multi tasking.”
