A huge auction takes place in Laois in May at Sheppard's Irish Auction House of Durrow which features more than 2,000 lots from a single collection.
The late, distinguished physician, Dr Jan Mohamed of Pouldrew House, Kilmeaden, Co Waterford spent a lifetime collecting furniture, paintings and objects d'art.
His home was filled with pieces collected over many decades in Asia and from period house sales in Laois, Waterford, Kilkenny, and the entire South-East.
The Pouldrew House and other important clients' sale will be held in Sheppard's Irish Auction House in Durrow on May 9, 10, 11 and 12 with previews on May 6, 7 And 8.
