Kilkenny Chamber vice-president Anne Barber, president Brian Keyes, CEO John Hurley
Group Editorial Director of Iconic Media Group Brian Keyes was re-elected President of Kilkenny Chamber at its 75th annual meeting at the Pembroke Hotel Kilkenny recently.
It will be Mr Keyes’ second year in office, and vice-president Anne Barber was also re-elected.
In his address, Mr Keyes noted the good news headlines in Kilkenny, including Tirlán’s relocation to the Abbey Quarter, State Street’s new headquarters and Abbott’s investment in the city and county. He quoted former Irish President Mary Robinson from a recent speech at the Chambers Ireland 100th birthday celebrations, where she challenged business leaders to be bold and fight for policies that will make a real difference in people’s lives in relation to tackling climate change.

Meanwhile, also at the meeting, the Chamber launched the new Explore Kilkenny app in partnership with Kilkenny Tourism.
The app will be the go-to point of information about Kilkenny for visitors and locals alike. The Chamber is encouraging people to search for and download the app.
