Decision due soon on plans for Jysk in Kilkenny

Plans submitted by Jysk for a new outlet at Kilkenny Retail and Business Park

A final decision is to be made by Kilkenny County Council on a planning application lodged by Jysk Limited next week.

In November of 2022, Jysk applied to develop Unit 4 of Kilkenny Retail and Business Park at Springhill.

The submitted plans sought to alter the existing retail unit to include the construction of a new first floor mezzanine retail space.

Also planned were internal alterations including the provision of storage/stock room, internal lift, circulation and escape stairs.

Those plans hit a speed bump in January when Kilkenny County Council requested further information from the applicant in relation to the development.
