A family of swans including six young cygnets were spotted out and about in Kilkenny City early this morning.
Footage shared publicly on social media by Pauline Clowry (see video below) captured the site, as the animals made their way towards the River Nore.
A comment on the video confirmed that the swans eventually made it safely to the river at Green's Bridge.
As the video shows, they were even courteous enough to use a pedestrian crossing along the way!
