The Watershed in Kilkenny recently welcomed over 160 Special Olympics athletes for an athletics event.

Clubs travelled from all over Leinster to compete and the Mayor of Kilkenny officially opened the event. Athletes enjoyed participating in the day’s activities and were thrilled to receive their medals and ribbons from a selection of local representatives including Kilkenny hurling legend, Brian Cody.
