Supporter advice as Kilkenny fans get ready to take the trip to Croker

This Sunday’s All-Ireland Hurling Final involving Kilkenny and Limerick will be the 136th edition of the fixture.

The teams have met in two finals over the past 16 years. The Cats brought Liam home to Noreside in 2007, with Limerick returning the favour in 2022.

Both finals brought supporters from far and wide to Croke Park to cheer on their respective counties and is set to draw over 80,000 people again this year.

The GAA have issued the following advice to supporters:

- Come early and enjoy the atmosphere, and entertainment with stiles opening at 1pm.
Have your ticket downloaded in advance.

- In the interest of efficient and effective crowd management, patrons will not be allowed to meet or congregate on Jones’ Road before or after the game and will be asked to follow the instructions of stewards and Gardaí at all times.

- Supporters are reminded that flares and smoke cannisters are dangerous and illegal and are strictly prohibited.
anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

- Remember Croke Park is in a residential area - 'Please Respect Our Neighbours'.

- The GAA anticipates that Sunday’s attendance will be a capacity crowd.
Tickets should only have been sourced through official channels and supporters should not use unofficial sources.

Musical entertainment on the day will be provided by The Mary Wallopers from 1.45pm.

And to get the juices flowing ahead of the final, 1998 All-Ireland champions, Offaly, celebrate their silver jubilee and will be presented to the crowd at 2:45pm.
