The artist community of Kilkenny celebrated the 9th Alternative Kilkenny Arts (AKA) Festival in the Hole in the Wall Pub last Friday.
The festival launch event had a great turnout of faces both new and old.
This year's festival is packed with excitement, with events happening both in the city and around the county from August 4 to 20. This is a brilliant opportunity to engage with the work of musicians, poets and visual artists.
Programmes are available across the county.
