Kilkenny legend Shefflin set to remain as Galway manager

Galway Senior Hurling Manager Henry Shefflin is set to continue in the role according to reports from Galway Bay FM.

The 10 time All-Ireland winner with Kilkenny has completed two years out of his three year term and reports from the county are suggesting the Ballyhale man may extend his time with the county beyond the one year remaining on his current deal. 

Shefflin, who took Shamrocks Ballyhale to All-Ireland glory as a player and manager, has yet to book Galway a finale place, losing out to Limerick in back to back All-Ireland Semi-Finals.
