Today (Tuesday) will see the first supermoon of the month rise in the skies over Kilkenny.
Unfortunately, cloudy conditions are also forecast for this evening, so the moon may be covered for many locals.
The moon will also be visible tomorrow (Wednesday), where it will appear bigger and brighter than usual.
Don't fret if you miss out this week, an even bigger supermoon will be visible on August 30.
The last time two full supermoons appeared in the same month was all the way back in 2018.
