Rescue spaces are being sought for a litter of pups who were supposedly found in a box on a country road in South Kilkenny.

When discovered, they were covered in fleas and further inspections revealed that their bellies were full of worms.

The puppies are approximately five weeks old and Carlow/Kilkenny Dog Shelter are asking if any rescue can help them out.

They are too young to get the care that they need right now at the shelter.

Please don’t message or phone the shelter about adopting one of these pups as they are still too young.

Rescue spaces only.
