Christy's Bar, Upper Patrick Street in Kilkenny claimed a prestigious award earlier this week, scooping the 2023 South East Regional Winner for the Best Outdoor Space in the Irish Pub Awards.
The awards, sponsored by Bulmers Ireland, are open to pubs across the country and reward businesses for their performances in a number of categories.
Proprietors, Liam and Antony Morrisson are 4th generation publicans and currently operate the local bar based in the heart of 'the Village'.
The premises holds one of the largest beer gardens in the city with a large retractable roof providing covered and uncovered areas, with the space proving to be very popular amongst customers.
