The Savour Kilkenny Food Festival returns to Kilkenny City on the October bank-holiday weekend as a mouth-watering list of events have been announced.
The festival, now in its 15th year, brought over 50,000 attendees to the Marble City in 2022.
This year, Savour will host cookery demonstrations, dining events, talks, workshops and entertainment for adults and children.
The weekend's festivities promises to cover a wide range of topics including; zero waste, sustainable cooking and gardening for the future, while a special workshop on how to preserve and restore our precious native biodiversity will also take place.
The four day festival, from October 27 to 30, includes appearances from Irish and international chefs and food personalities including: Kevin Dundon, Edward Hayden and singer Jake Carter.
Previewing this year's festival, Savour Food Festival Manager, Marian Flannery promised that there would be something on offer for all the family including; an animal farm, plate spinning workshop and face painting for kids, while adults can also choose from a wide range of activities such as; a yoga brunch, cookery demos, gardening and plenty more besides.
Entry to the Savour Market, cookery demos and talks are free. Dining events and special events are individually priced. 'Dine Out' at Savour encourages you to book a table directly with a Kilkenny restaurant.
