Kilkenny group to remember legacy of Vicky Phelan

Kilkenny group remembers legacy of Vicky Phelan

The Mooncoin Cancer Support Group will host the Vicky Phelan campaign and portrait tour at 7pm on Friday, October 27 in the Parish Hall.

David Brennan, a life-long friend of Vicky Phelan, will explain the detail of her portrait by Vincent Devine.

There will also be a panel discussion with guest speakers on the evening.

Next month will mark one year since Vicky's passing following a long battle with cancer.

The Mooncoin native came to national attention in 2018 when she refused to sign 'a gagging order' after settling her High Court case against a US lab and brought the Cervical Check scandal into the light.

Doors on the night open from 6.30pm and all support is welcome.
