Tick Tock - What will Kilkenny look like in 2030?

Time ticks on - What will Kilkenny look like by 2030?

A new vision for Kilkenny City and County will be launched  in the Medieval Mile Museum on Thursday, October 26 at 10am.

'Full Forward Kilkenny 2030' is the culmination of significant consultation and engagement with communities around Kilkenny, including businesses, citizens and interest groups and will serve as a guiding principle for what Kilkenny City and County will be like to live, work, and enjoy by the end of the decade.

The initiative will support the continued development of the city and county through seven key pillars: Climate, Community, Jobs, Heritage, Inclusion, Health, and Creativity.

The morning's events event will also include a panel discussion with Lar Power (Chief Executive Kilkenny County Council), Mary Fitzgerald (Paralympian), and Edward Hayden (chef and author) at approximately 11am.
