Kilkenny GAA club to honour past glories

The planned James Stephens reunion night on Saturday, December 2 in Larchfield promises to be a memorable occasion.

Originally intended as a reunion event to mark Jim Mulvin’s influence in driving the football championship successes of the 1990s but, owing to the crossover of players involved in the Kilkenny under-21 hurling championship title wins of 2000 and 2002 and the 2000 Kilkenny junior hurling title win over Piltown the evening has been expanded to recall those memorable occasions.

Appropriately being an integrated club since the 2022 annual meeting, the junior camogie team’s historic 2022 Kilkenny and Leinster club championship victories will also be remembered on the night along with lots more - the committee did confirm that they also have a number of surprises up their sleeves which will add hugely to the entertainment value of the evening.

Be assured it will be an occasion for members and former players not to be missed.
