It is proposed to change the Vigil Mass time at Moneenroe to help priests make it on time for the next Mass, nearby.

The proposed new time is for 6pm to assist the priests to get back for 7pm Mass in Castlecomer.

The change will take place on the first Sunday of Advent, December 3.

Mass times for Christmas have also been decided with a 6.30pm time on Christmas Eve in Moneenroe and 11am Mass on Christmas Day in Clogh.

It is also proposed to celebrate Mass on a Holy Day of Obligation on 7.30pm in Clogh, instead of the morning Mass, as it is at present.

The annual calendar will be published and will be available to each household at Christmas time.
