The Dance Club Kilkenny is a new and upcoming dance school in Kilkenny which focuses on casual and social dancing for adults of all ages.
Having only been open since last year, it has thrived in Kilkenny City and across Ireland.
Kate brings you dance classes in the heart of Kilkenny City, Keeping a more casual approach to dancing by taking our classes in popular bar locations in Kilkenny while also having a studio location for private classes and workshops.
Social dances are dances that have a social function and context. Social dances are intended for participation rather than performance. They are often danced merely to socialise and for entertainment, though they may have ceremonial, competitive and performance functions.
Kate, The founder is a well traveled and certified dance instructor, specialising in Latin dance styles such as Salsa, bachata and Kizomba which are the more trending social dance styles in recent years.
She also works with couples, Individuals and schools by hosting curated workshops and private classes for all dance requirements, whether it's wedding choreography, Corporate team building workshops, or dance workshops for children and teens.
The Dance Club Kilkenny strives to meet the diverse needs of many by providing a wide range of affordable and flexible dance classes on a weekly basis.
Not everyone is born a dancer, but with practice anyone can.
If you have the passion, you can enhance your talent by reigniting an old hobby or, learn a new dance skill regardless of age.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a dancer or taking dance classes is seeing you improve. It's that a-ha moment when a light bulb goes off and you are finally able to perform a certain skill after months of practice.
