Kilkenny Gospel Choir team up with the Good Shepherd Centre this Christmas

Kilkenny Gospel Choir team up with the Good Shepherd Centre for charity performance

The Kilkenny Gospel Choir, under the leadership of Fr. Willie Purcell, has announced its upcoming charity concert, 'Carols for the Homeless', will be held at the Kilkenny Design Centre on Sunday, December 17 at 2pm.

Established in 2000, the local choir well known for their charity fundraising in the local community has not only raised hundreds of thousands of euro for good causes but has also touched hearts worldwide with its uplifting performances.

In 2005, the choir graced Washington DC with its angelic voices, and in 2007, they captivated audiences in Boston and New York, including a performance in the esteemed St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

This Christmas, the choir will be dedicating its festive concert to the Good Shepherd Centre in Kilkenny who work with the homeless and families at risk of homelessness.

'Carols for the Homeless' aims to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need and promises to be an afternoon filled with soulful carols, spreading the joy of the season and the spirit of giving.

All donations from the concert will go towards supporting the homeless community in Kilkenny.
