Cllr Pat Fitzpatrick
Local Fianna Fáil councillor, Pat Fitzpatrick, has welcomed the recent allocation of funding for two projects in Muckalee parish.
Muckalee Gaelic Football Club is to receive €50,000 for improvement works on the carpark at the grounds, while €44,768 has been awarded to St Martin’s GAA club to complete works associated with the new Astro-Turf pitch in Coon.
"This funding is very welcome and it acknowledges the tremendous work being carried out by both clubs and its members," Cllr Fitzpatrick said.
"I would also like to congratulate all involved in putting together the applications for these important projects in our parish which I was delighted to support."
