Mayor Joe Malone got into the festive spirit at the recent launch of the 'Hope is a Home: The 12 Days of Christmas' campaign, dressing up as iconic cartoon character, Mickey Mouse.

Cllr Malone officially launched the Good Shepherd Centre Kilkenny (GSCK) campaign alongside Late Late Toy Show star and local boy, Stevie Mulrooney (7), Orla Kelly, and the GSCK’s online brand ambassador for the campaign, Kilkenny digital content creator Niamh Carroll, to support the festive campaign for the Good Shepherd Centre Kilkenny.

The GSCK, a dedicated homeless charity in Kilkenny, began a 12-day journey on December 1, concluding on December 12, spreading awareness and raising funds for individuals and families facing housing challenges in Kilkenny.
