The Murphy Family
There was heartbreak for a local family in the finale of Ireland's Fittest Family on RTÉ on Sunday evening.
The Murphy family from Carlow lost out in the series' Grand Final following a set of gruelling fitness-based challenges.
The family of four included current St Kieran's College student Ruairí Murphy and former pupil at the Kilkenny secondary school Donagh Murphy.
The Borris family, captained by former female jockey, Nina Carberry, lost out to the Stafford family from Cavan to finish the competition in second place.
