Iconic Kilkenny pub named in Sunday World Pub Spy top 10 for 2023
A Kilkenny pub has been named among the top 10 visited by the Sunday World's famous secret drinker Pub Spy in 2023.
The Pub Spy segment in the Sunday World is still as popular as ever with the secret punter travelling the country to sample pubs and their pints.
Legendary Kilkenny city boozer JB Burke's has made the cut and was listed among the cream of the crop by Pub Spy.
In the Old Commando's review of JB Burke's, the veteran drinker said:
"This was our first ever visit to JB Burke’s pub and we were very tempted to avail of the accommodation that was advertised.
"No doubt there was many a great night in here since our visit with O’Loughlin Gaels capturing the county and Leinster hurling championship since then."
