The local authority, in partnership with Tipperary County Council, Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and the Department of Transport (DoT) are developing the N24 Waterford to Cahir Project. A project which is expected to be of benefit to a large number of Kilkenny drivers.
The project is included in the National Development Plan 2021-2030.

This infrastructure will improve connectivity between the towns and cities across the South Eastern Region and we acknowledge the significant economic and social benefits that derive from such investments," the Kilkenny Chief Executive concluded.
