Due to essential road works, Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that a temporary vehicular road closure will be in operation on Evan's Lane (L26711) from its junction with James' Street / Tilbury Place to its junction with Parliament Street from today (Monday, January 22) for a period of four weeks. Local diversions will be in operation and signposted.
In so far as practical whilst repair works are in progress, local access will be facilitated via Tilbury Place.
Meanwhile, there will be traffic management (including stop-go if required) at Leggettsrath Cottages, Dublin Road on the outskirts of Kilkenny City (today) Monday, January 22 to Wednesday, January 24 from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
Delays can be expected and pedestrians will be provided for throughout the works.
Kilkenny County Council appreciates your co-operation and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
