Members of the local branch of An Garda Síochána visited MacDonagh Junction in Kilkenny on Thursday to chat to people about the Gardaí's recruitment campaign.
Student Garda, Cuileann Ní Chearmada, Garda Philip Curran along with Garda Aidan and Garda Andy are asking members of the public to consider joining the organisation.
A newly launched recruitment drive, called 'It's a Job Worth Doing', aims to increase the number of Gardaí in 2024 and in the years to come.
Applications are being accepted now at publicjobs.ie and remain open until Thursday, February 8.
