An Garda Síochana are asking members of the public aged between 18 and 50 years of age to consider joining the organisation.
Kilkenny Gardaí will host an information morning on Saturday, February 3 from 10am to 1pm and an information evening on Tuesday, February 6 from 6pm to 9pm at Kilkenny Garda station for anyone considering applying to become a garda recruit.
The sessions will allow members of the public meet Garda members and ask them any questions about Garda life. Gardaí on hand will also be able to provide information about the training at the Garda College in Templemore as well as chat about all the challenges and rewards of the job.
