A man in his 20s has died following a road crash in County Kilkenny.
One vehicle was involved in the incident on the N10 in Foulkstown in the early hours of Saturday.
Gardaí said emergency services responded to the collision which occurred at approximately 3.25am, adding that the driver of the car, an adult male in his 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place.
Investigating gardaí have issued an appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward, including road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area at the time are urged to provide it to officers.
