The late Jim Kearns
The death has occurred of Jim Kearns,12 Mooncoin Heights, Mooncoin, Co Kilkenny and formerly of Knockmoylan, Ballyhale. Jim passed away suddenly and peacefully at his home on Monday, February 19.
Mr Kearns was a former President of Shamrocks Ballyhale GAA Club and a well-known and respected figure in Kilkenny GAA.
"Shamrocks GAA Club is saddened by the passing of past President Jim Kearns. Jim was known to everyone in the parish and would never miss a Shamrocks match. If Jim wasn't at the pitch he would be stewarding in Nowlan Park with the Shamrocks crew and was always there to give a hand. Jim will be sadly missed by all. Ar dheis Dė go raibh anam," a spokesperson for the club said.
Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at his home, 12 Mooncoin Heights (X91 TR04) on Thursday, February 22, from 4pm to 7pm. Arriving at Church of the Assumption Mooncoin on Friday morning, February 23, for funeral mass at 11am. Followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. House private Friday morning.
