Kilkenny RFC have announced the appointment of Corey Carty, as Head Coach for the upcoming season.
The Wexford native has spent over 10 years as a coach with roles with Carlow IT, Enniscorthy RFC and Leinster amongst his credentials.
In a statement, the club thanked outgoing Head Coach Dave O'Connor for his services to the club and wished Carty well in his new position.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dave O’Connor, for his hard work, incredible efforts and leadership over the past five years as head coach. Dave delivered considerable success bringing a Towns Cup & South East league to Foulkstown, while also achieving qualification for the All Ireland Junior cup in 2020. We are very grateful for the work that he and his coaching team put in and thankful for many memorable match days, results & moments that we enjoyed."
"President Michael Hannigan, extends a warm welcome to Corey into our club and wishing him every success in his new role," the statement concluded.
