Callan town centre
On Friday evening Seán Kelly MEP will officially launch the Callan Heritage Trail.
A suggestion for the Callan Heritage Trail, to record and provide a trail linking the sites of rich heritage in Callan town and surrounds, was an idea brought to Kilkenny County Council two years ago by Cllr Joe Lyons. Directional signs and information boards have been put in place in recent months.
The official launch will take place on Friday, at 8pm, in the grounds of St Mary’s Church on Green Street. All are welcome to attend.
