Submissions are now open for AKA Kilkenny which will run from August 8 to 18.
AKA is a voluntary run arts festival that showcases the hard work and talent of artists and community groups in Kilkenny City and county. Founded in 2014 by a group of artists and community organisers looking to bring together the scattered events and exhibitions that happen each August in Kilkenny. Over the last nine years the festival has grown from strength to strength and continues to offer a platform to established and emerging artists from Kilkenny City and county with 90 artists taking part in AKA 2023.
The deadline is June 2 at midnight and no submissions will be accepted after this time.
A community meet up will take place on May 23 at 6:30pm in the Book & Coffee shop, William St. Kilkenny.
Artists interested in participating are asked to you the official submission form
