Kilkenny’s golfing heritage remembered at unveiling

Three heritage plaques were unveiled at Kilkenny Golf Club to mark the centenary of the club’s move from the Kilcreene course to Fair Hill Newtown course in 1924.

The Foundation Plaque is located at the front entrance to the Glendine Pavilion. The Professionals Plaque is located near the Locker Room entrance while the Fair Hill plaque is located at the forward men’s 12th tee near the former Fair Hill Pavilion.
