TAP '>' FOR NEXT PILTOWN LEA CANDIDATE

Natasha Newsome Drennan (Sinn Féin)

Natasha Newsome Drennan has been working in the disability sector in Ferrybank for over 17 years.

“I see firsthand the lack of services like OT and SLT,” she said. “These are vital services needed for young children so that they can reach their full potential. South Kilkenny schools are crying out for units for children with additional needs.”

Natasha believes that housing is one of the main issues when it comes to retaining staff in these areas.

“While canvassing I have seen many derelict houses, which I would love to see put to use,” she said. “We also need new builds.”

Natasha says that safety on our roads needs tackling. “Some of our roads are not fit for purpose,” she said. “South Kilkenny feel forgotten about is what I hear on the doors!”

Married in Knockmoylan, Mullinavat, to John with their four children on a suckler farm, Natasha says that she knows only too well about the cost of living crisis.

“I would love to see our farms viable for the next generation,” she said. “As well as that, I am committed to supporting community groups and sports clubs.

“I believe that the school and public bus service in rural Kilkenny needs serious planning. It is a joke that children are left with no seat to school.

“I am a compassionate hard working, motivated and understanding person, who wants to see South Kilkenny thrive. I will work tirelessly to achieve this. Vote 1 for Natasha Newsome Drennan on June 7.”
